Tell me the truth: Are you still waiting for the third season of Euphoria? Rumor has it that the next season has been delayed again, but hope remains for the fans! Let's wait for the moment when Zendaya and Hunter find some time in their busy schedules so we can all appreciate a long-awaited continuation.
Meanwhile, how about daydreaming a little? For today's blog post, I've gathered some of the most breathtaking makeup looks, inspired by our favorite Euphoria characters. By the way, the talented Donni Davy makes all the original looks. You have to try them all yourself, who knows, maybe you'll be able to invoke Euphoria season three with your look?
- Maddy Perez with Neon Orange Eyeliner
Luckily, milkmakeup's Instagram shared a very similar, perhaps even improved version of this look by the awesome Lenka Demcakova: lavender eyeshadow with neon-orange graphic eyeliner paired with fiery orange lashes. I really love this look, especially in this new rendition. You can wear Maddie's legendary nude lips with this bright look, or, alternatively, pair it with a glossy-glittery lip look.
- Cassie Howard's Azul Rhinestones
Cassie Howard, played by the talented Sydney Sweeney, has one of the most memorable and striking looks. Although it's a bit hard to find a clear portrait of Cassie, as she tends to cry a lot! But this isn't a problem, as Donni Davy created a bunch of wonderful snaps for all of us fans and appreciators. Blogger Klea Hysaj was able to perfectly capture the colors, textures, and mood of Cassie's rhinestone look. How do you like it?
- Kat Hernandez and the Unholy Red Lips
All of Kat's makeup looks (and her iconic dark feminine outfits!) are strikingly beautiful. So, finding the look I liked the most wasn't easy. There was a lot of smokiness, bold lips, greenery, and sharp eyeliners, but I decided to stop on the unholy look: red smoky eyes with black eyeliner and cross-like tears on the cheeks.
For the lips, Kat picked a bright red look with a black outline. I believe this look is perfect for Halloween, so you should take note! Unfortunately, I couldn't find the exact recreation of this iconic look, but the makeup artist Lavii Nechifor has a wonderful makeup look in her collection, that evokes the very same, haunting vibes.
- Lexi Howard and Ombre Galaxy Backdrop
Lexi's gentle nature is often emphasized by the lack of bold, eye-catching motifs. However, I couldn't pass up the so-called ombré galaxy look in pretty purple colors with iridescent detailing. This is a very unique look, as it is supposed to represent her very own, first steps in her makeup journey. Well, I believe it was very successful!
This look will go especially well with brown and green eyes, and you can accomplish it with nude or rosy lips and a simple hair look. A very similar, inspiring look by the freelance artist from Texas, ashmeredith_, on Instagram. What do you think?
- Rue Bennett's Glittery Tears
Rue's glittery tears are probably the most popular Euphoia makeup look. It was even featured on one of the promo posters for the season. Heavily glittered, smudged, and glowing – this eye looks perfect. resembles the mood and grunginess of the show. I wish Rue had more opportunities to feel and look her best in the show. Let's hope in the third season she'll get her time to shine and be happy.
Although different, but just as beautiful, professional makeup artist Pamela Segura created a purple makeup look inspired by Euphoria. If you aren't a fan of purple shades, for a duochrome green, blue, or even pink.
- Jules Vaughn and Mellow Yellow
In contrast to Rue's dramatic, teary purple makeup, I picked out Jules' yellow look with a bright white graphic line on her lids. It is, of course, not the only look I love about her! Hunter has such a universally appealing appearance, and everything looks beautiful with her eyes and blonde hair. Another favorite of mine – rainbow, watercolor splatters with golden glitter in the inner corners.
Bella Lacerda repeated and even improved this look! For her dark brown eyes, she used sunflower yellow eyeshadow with a similar white line. But, instead of one pastel-lavender dot, she applied three red dots under her eyes. I believe these little details bring a whole new vibe to the look, what are your thoughts?
Let's summarize...
Well, in summary, I would love to note that all of the Euphoria makeup looks are fabulous. Both visual director and artist Donni Davy have done an amazing job elevating the characters' styles and emphasizing their complex personalities. If you're searching for fresh makeup ideas that represent all of the latest trends, look no further. Bedazzling, beaming, and bewitching – Euphoria has them all. So, don't waste your time waiting for the new season, start wearing these looks today, and maybe you'll invoke its return!
